After All These Years

This one is in Ab. I'm pretty sure he plays it in E with a capo on IV (as an alternative, you can try G chords with capo on I).

For the E+ just play your regular E but play a c instead of a b on the a-string (so 001230). The Cmaj7 can be played as 35453x. I've standardized the verses somewhat.

(E) Just the thought of you still (E+) takes my breath (F#m) away
After (B7) all these years, what more can I (E) say
You are (E) still the light that (E7) guides me even (A) through my darkest (Am) day
And I still love you after all these (E) years

(E) Patiently you've (E+) waited for so (F#m) long
And you (B7) stood beside me knowing I was (E) wrong
And (E) through all of my (E7) confusion you could (A) hear the perfect (Am) song
And I still (E) love you (B7) after all these (E) years

And (A) if at times I (B7) fail to (E) understand
And (B7) appear so distant and so (E) cold
Darling (Cmaj7) please forgive a foolish (C#m) man
'Cause I've (A) never meant to (F#m) hurt you
(G#m) Heaven only (A) knows (B7)

After (E) all these years (E+) what more could I (F#m) say
But the (B7) thought of you still takes my breath (E) away
You are (E) still the light that (E7) guides me (A) through my darkest (Am) day
And I still (E) love you (B7) after all these (E) years
